Fujifilm FinePix S5000 3.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera -...

Strengths: GREAT ZOOM, FAST, SLEEK, SHARP, GREAT DIGI CAM, CAN'T GET A BETTER DEAL FOR $300.00. WOULD ADVISE ANYONE TO BUY THIS PRODUCT

Weakness: IT WOULD BE NICE IF IT HAD AT LEAST 6.1 EFFECTIVE MEGA PIXEL

GREAT CAMERA, GREAT PRICE AND FEATURES ITS WORTH THE AMOUNT THEY ASK FOR. IF THIS CAMERA WOULD OF SAID NIKON INSTEAD OF FUJI THE PRICE DIFFERENCE WOULD BE AT LEAST THE SAME AMOUNT IT COSTS.

Fujifilm FinePix S5000 3.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera -...

Strengths: Lightweight, excellent styling, easy to use, good value.

This is my first digital camera. Have used an SLR Minolta Maxim for many years. I bought this camera based on a good review in consumer reports and the excellent user reviews on this sight and I am very pleased with it's performance to-date.

Fujifilm FinePix S5000 3.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera -...

Strengths: 10x Optical, Superb optics, best movie mode, many options.

Weakness: 16MB xd card

This is the best camera on the market. The picture quality is unbelievable (I have yet to need more than the lowest quality setting). The movie mode is the best of any camera (30fps, sound, and up to 14 min on 512MB card). The camera is completely configurable (shutter speed, aperature, etc.) The price is right too. There is simply no other digital camera to buy at this time. BUY IT NOW!!

This is a great camera. It was the first Digi that I bought. I got it to take on my honey moon down in Jamacia so I wouldnt have to lug my big SLR around and roll after roll of film.It did a great job If you want to see some of the pictures Taken by this camera go to home.cinci.rr.com/duckdoom I have some shots up there that were all taken from this Camera. Fujifilm FinePix S5000 3.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera -...

Strengths: Long zoom. Very good optics. Great feel. Many features. Good price.

Weakness: Relatively high xD card price. AC adapter extra.

This is my first digital camera after years of high end 35mm SLRs. I was completely blown away! The camera feels great, has excellent optics, and produces 8x10s that are impossible to distinguish from my Nikon with AF lenses. The Finepix viewer software is easy to use and makes the task of image management easy. I went ahead and spent the $175 it cost to get the 512 MB xD card - but that's 18...

Fujifilm FinePix S5000 3.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera -...

Strengths: Has many great features. Really takes at 6MP.

Weakness: only comes with a 16mb card.

I absolutely love my new camera. I strongly recommend this camera. Before purchasing this camera I went to several camera shops in my area and asked them which camera they recommended. All of them said the Fuji S5000.

Fujifilm FinePix S5000 3.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera -...

Strengths: Lightweight compact.....lots of control of camera functions. Lots of ways to use it. Great results at a great price

Weakness: Memory cards a bit expensive.

The only problem I can see is don't sneeze when you have the memory card out of the camera, or you might loose it..........it's that small.

Fujifilm FinePix S5000 3.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera -...

Strengths: Light, I like the SLR shape, takes good pix.

Weakness: Stopped working after 3 weeks, had to have the power circuit board re-soldered and the connections cleaned.

I had the camera for three weeks and it worked fine. It seems to take great pictures and is pretty easy to use. After three weeks it stopped working. I corresponded with Fuji's help email but got nothing but answers and suggestions that were quotes out of the manual. Called their help line and was pushed into voicemail after 10 minute waits and got no call back. I did get responses to my email...

Fujifilm FinePix S5000 3.1 Megapixel Bridge Camera -...

Strengths: Fun to use, Great zoom lens, nice options, fits in your hand nicely, nice software package

Weakness: 3.1 MP, plastic body

I tested this camera vs another that was a 5.3MP and had a 7x optical zoom. All said and done the S-5000 was easier to use, took great pictures, and was just more fun!! the software package sealed the deal, very easy to store and print photos, and edit and clean up (rarely needed though. I looked at A LOT of cameras in this price range and slightly above. I'm glad I picked the FUJI. The one thing...

Fuji FinePix S5000 Digital Camera Review

Weighing well under a pound (11.6 oz without batteries), the Fujifilm FinePix S5000 appears to have been crafted with portability somewhere near the forefront of its design. Although its throwback boxed SLR frame takes away the pocket-holstering capabilities many cameras in its weight class provide, the FinePix S5000 features Fujifilm’s forth generation 1/2.7-in. Super CCD HR (high resolution)...

FujiFilm FinePix S5000

Fuji's FinePix S5000 offers a 10x optical zoom lens, great color, exceptional battery life, and an interesting continuous-shooting mode that's a great feature for sports and other action photography. A solid entry, but facing stiff competition in an increasingly crowded field. (Long-zoom digicams.) Definitely worth a look though...
